Restoration Projects
The restoration or renovation projects take a varied form and the design and modelling functions of Modillions form an important role. However, the site survey service is an important first step to assess the integrity, size and scope of the works. The second stage is to provide a survey report describing the condition of the existing plasterwork and the proposals to stabilise or replace part or all of the plasterwork. The liaison with any planning or building preservation authorities is part of the preliminary phase.
The survey work is further developed by Modillions estimating service, which will provide a budget cost analysis of the alternatives to the customer. When the method has been selected a quotation is calculated for the clients approval, and then a full programme for the works will be developed taking into account the project conditions and other trades. These stages are followed to give the client an understanding of the technical issues and to offer the best value for money. Modillions, with its in-house resources, shall then provide the client with a superb and permanent restoration project – the photographs and list of projects here support Modillions status as probably the leading restoration contractor.
